Yeah, re-tune / factory reset etc

    LNB is fine too

Problem is at the moment I can't figure out if it's a hardware issue or something Freesat vrelated

A friend of mine bought an LG TV a few months ago … OLED42C34LA …

And want to use the Freesat mode (which it is in) .

However a family member wants to see a FTA satellite channel that is NOT on Freesat - EWTN TV

It doesn't appear to be possible to manually tune in additional non-Freesat channels (EWTN) whilst in Freesat mode … Is this correct ????

On settup it can be put into non-Freesat satellite mode (instead of Freesat, you cannot have both modes available it seems) and obviously tune in EWTN, but all the hassle of tuning and ordering all channels etc , and loose the benefits of Freesat mode.

it is annoying. Maybe LG customer service might be able to offer a solution?

Just to explain there is no solution with the TV its either or and was deliberate from the outset years ago.

If that EWTN is important here are 2 solutions. And it depends on how many outputs the lnb has, if it has 2 and only one used etc.

    1. Get a cheap sat reciver and use another hdmi port for EWTN.
    2. Get a box like a ZGEMMA H7S and have all the channels on that inc saorview.
