Was happy to see Armani banished, played the game horribly. I think some of the flak she's received is a bit OTT though, at worse she's been a bit brash and overconfident, which ultimately proved to be her undoing.

Can't see Linda lasting too long either, doesn't seem to have a clue how to play the game. Amazing the amount of people who want to be traitors and then can't cope at all when they get picked.

Don't like the way Kasim has been ganged up upon, seemingly based almost solely on the fact he's a doctor. Veering ever so slightly into bullying territory I think.

Minah is definitely my favourite so far, playing the game perfectly.

I think Minah is great and playing a very good game, she's not too quiet, speaking at the round table but also not overly loud, but I think she'll fall under the 'Who haven't we looked at yet?' category and eventually go because of that.

    Me too.

And the nonsense from the priest (can't think of her name) about Anna and the boat. Ridiculous argument.

    Absolutely BS reason I agree.

The crying now after voting him out , the Muppets 🙄🙄

that Joe is one nasty fella

Probably Freddie seduced as he'll be next out and take heat off them.

Anna couldn't defend herself at roundtable so can't imagine they'll want her on side.

Fozia too risky as new to the game and either will take a while to have an impact or could have been brought in as a traitor.

I still really dislike Joe. The priest also has a nasty air about her.

I felt very sorry for Kas, more the way he was treated during the day than his banishment. Poor Freddie, he's just a big baby.

I think it was the first time I've seen Freddie as a 20 year old who's just not able for the game he signed up to.

Freddie crying, saying he didn't like how it felt to be talked about and thought of as a traitor.

Well Freddie, now you know a fraction of how Kas felt , at least others are still talking to you!

If I were a faithful I'd be looking at Freddie thinking crocodile tears.

That Tyler lad didn't half balls himself up, saying Freddie's name to anyone who'll listen only to vote Kaz. What a way to put a spotlight on yourself!

Minah is playing the game brilliantly. Linda not knowing her arse from her elbow might actually stand to her.

I liked that Fozia gave Kasim that moment at the round table where he got to say his piece about being ostracised.

And I LOVED his parting shots. 😁

I'd like to see Minah get caught out, but I don't think any of them are smart enough to suspect her.

They banished the smartest guy in the group.

Some English people have a deep rooted anti Irish sentiment. That's the only reason Anna's name has been brought up. She hasn't done anything to raise suspicion.

I hope Kas gets invited back for the next series. I felt so sorry for him. 😢

Re-anti irish sentiment opinion - Ah I wouldn't think that's the case to be fair.

It's a game where everything you do is micro analysed to the last. From a twinkle in the eye to making a balls of tying up a boat. Everyone will be put under the spotlight at some point.

  • Site Banned Posts: 2,931 ✭✭✭Musicrules

For anyone who's ever lived in England, the anti Irish sentiment is fairly common.

Thought so, I'd bet anything you have at least an English twang. Go on, be honest.

Bollox! <said in my perfect South London accent>

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,747 ✭✭✭✭Galwayguy35

Well I lived there in the 1990s and never experienced it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,177 ✭✭✭✭Basq

It'd be more common in small towns and villages in the UK.. but it's definitely the vocal as opposed to the majority. The same places would be rife with misogyny also tbh.

Plenty of Irish people have done well on reality TV shows in the UK - Brian Dowling, Greg O'Shea, Anna Nolan, Maura Higgins - to name just a few.

I wouldn't be using "anti-Irish sentiment" for Anna.. The Traitors is a show where the smallest insignificant thing - like a misstep when hooking up a boat - can be blown out of all proportion. You've 20 people staring at every decision you make.

Scientifically impossible to undo over 40yrs of Galway bogger accent!

  • Site Banned Posts: 2,931 ✭✭✭Musicrules

Maybe it's sub conscious but some don't really trust those who are different. Like Kas.

  • Site Banned Posts: 2,931 ✭✭✭Musicrules

😂 You never heard Aaron Connolly being interviewed then?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,080 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

Cillian Murphy spent 14yrs in London, Cant hear a twang off him. Veering wildly off topic but my accent hasnt changed during myvtime here, you're just guna have to take my word for it.

Back on topic. I wouldn't trust the new guy if I was a faithful. He'd be a perfect traitor.

So I will continue to watch but… (This is my first time watching the series)

consist of 1 task each week, the show is almost entirely everyone questioning who might or might not be the traitor and then a round table of more talk, with the final murder or seduction by the traitors.

Too much talk not enough tasks, while difficult I'd rather not know who the traitors are as an audience member. The older woman seems only to be getting away with being a traitor because she is an older woman.

None of the cast are all that interesting, you'd think at least one might come across as a traitor, the one that did was ostracized by the rest and he was a quiet guy.

Just one more thing .... when did they return that car

My first year watching too. Couldn't disagree more regarding the tasks. They're the least interesting bit for me. Couldn't care less about them. Seems like filler. The real fun is the accusations and paranoia amongst the group. Really enjoying it so far.
