    Thanks for the post ccsteve.

The TCLs are definitely the best value for money, especially in the 805 series but we're completely sold out of them at the moment. They have Mini LED panels, a great smart hub and VRR up to 144Hz for gaming. We do have the 55C745K in stock which is a QLED panel with the same VRR rate as the 8 series - it just doesn't have Mini LED:

Please don't hesitate to drop me a post if you'd be interested in this model.

    Kind regards

    Hi Ccsteve.

    • QLED: QLED TVs use Quantum Dot Technology to display a wider range of bright, vibrant colours on screen.

    • MiniLED: Mini-LED is similar to QLED, but the backlights get even smaller. Taking TCL Mini LED technical as an example, with insight into every detail of every light and shade change, the absolute darkness and brightness are unveiled. Maximize to 4,000+ local dimming zones, (Note: 4000+  partitions are laboratory data, as of 2022, 2,304 dimming zones are manufactured for models) enabling accurate light control and picture details. Local dimming technology. Improve the blooming phenomenon of TV edges against a black background.

Thanks David , it’s really difficult to pick what I need as it’s only TV /Firestick usage , I keep getting drawn to the Sony Bravia 55 for 799 , or the TCL 755.. will there be much of a difference in price in January sales ?

Thanks for getting back to me ccsteve.

Unfortunately we are never aware of the pricing for sales in advance so we won't know until the sale season starts.

The TCL is a great TV though and is very good value for money for the picture and features you get.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hey Ccsteve.

The Sony 55X75 would be the better television over the TCL 55C745.
It would be more on a par with the 55C805 which is out of stock until the new year.

We have both the TCL 55C745 and Sony 55X75 currently in stock in our main warehouse.
