Im looking at a potential new car but don't want to go around multiple garages testing as I don't have the time.

Just wondering if any website includes the width of the back seat? like to compare a Golf with a Passat to just give an example.

Thats a very specific type of information your looking for, I dont know of a website that would have that level of detail.

Most car data would give external dimensions rather than internal dimensions.

Ive found carsized.com & automobiledimension.com useful when we were looking at 7 seaters lately.

There’s some site that rates cars for being able to fit child/booster seats, that’s probably a good yardstick.

Whatcar used to be very good for precise definitions.

you need more than the back seat measurements you need to know the car shape and how the roof slopes back to. For instance a Skoda superb and kodiaq have the same back seat size but one fits car seats more comfortably than the other
