I'm flying into Gatwick from Spain next week at 11am and out of Stansted at 8pm to Cork. The only transport I can find between the two are about €50 on a bus or train. Is they're any cheaper way maybe getting 2 seperate trips? Also with the Brexit situation will I be caught up in immigration arriving into london? TIA.

Realise that the airports are about 120 km apart - that's like flying into Shannon and then flying out of Cork on the same day. The cheapest bus and coach fares will be when you buy in advance, even if that means on the day. Be aware of transaction charges when buying. I suspect you aren't going to find a radically cheaper fare. Your real cost may be finding something to do while hanging around airports.

If you are an Irish citizen, immigration shouldn't be a particular problem.

You can get a train from Gatwick to Victoria for about GBP 14. (That's the advance purchase fare — it's more if you get your ticket on the day, at the airport.) Then get the Victoria Line to Tottenham Hale — GBP 3.00 or 3.70, depending on the time of day. Then the train from Tottenham Hale to Stansted — tickets from GBP 9.70 but, again, depends on the time of day and whether you buy in advance.

So you can do the whole thing for GPB 27, give or take, but it requires advance planning and purchasing. Plus, if you are carting suitcases around, making three different journeys, connecting through central London, will be a right pain.

In terms of speed this is exactly how to do it. Just to note at this stage the cost of STN express is likely to be more. The cheapest albeit slower way to do it is get a train to victoria and then walk across the road to victoria coach station and get the bus from there to Stansted. It might save you a tenner or so.

Leave yourself at least 3.5 hours to complete the journey @Pauliedragon

Unless you are a non-eu citizen or an eu citizen without a passport you won't have issues at immigration.
