Seem to think farting about in midfield getting the goalkeeper on the ball is enough

Dublin blessed not to concede a goal. Shot off the crossbar, went back for a free as Monaghan were playing the advantage.

Brain dead moment from Niall Scully. No complaints, gets a black card.

10 minutes of Dublin players being injured.

Scully should have had a yellow for foul earlier too.

The treatment starts immediately after the black card 😂

Monaghan player should have passed that ball for a near certain goal. Out for a 45. Beggan puts it over.

Costello stole a couple of yards from that mark and point.

Another shocker from McAnespie. Wasted opportunity given straight to a Dublin player and ends in a point.

Ryan McAnespie won’t be getting Man of the match anyway.

Beggan likes to go off a wandering doesn't he, keeps that up and it ain't going to end well!

    Handy free for Con there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,738 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

That shouldn't have been a free to Dublin. Poor from the referee. Another point.

Sorry you're right, the fact armagh and monaghan went to penalties means it was a good game!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,738 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Cluxton lucky that ball didn't bounce the other direction off his hands into the net. Beggan converts the 45.

Dublin are not winning an All Ireland on this performance.

Loris Karius playing in goals for Dublin.

Ref has handed Dublin at least 2 points now

Dublin getting some very soft frees inside the Monaghan 45. That's two points they've gotten from non-frees.

The ref has given Dublin yet another free that shouldn't have been. There was no foul.

    Ridiculous decision from referee.

    Dublin getting soft frees

Half time Dublin 0-8 Monaghan 0-7 getting the competitive semi final that most neutrals wanted to see so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,018 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Crinklewood

Still expect Dublin to win by 7 or 8, they seem happy with 15 behind the ball and an odd foray into attack.

Im fairness their forwards have been clinical, with that, their bench, their inevitable 1-3 in five minutes and this referee....the match will probably be theirs.

Very similar first half to mayo game

It will be interesting to see will the dubs blow them away 3rd quarter or did we underestimate the effect of no break between games for mayo !

That and we had o Hora making basquell look like Clifford and also us being so very mayo 🫣

Dublin 0-8 from 12 shots. Monaghan 0-7 from 15 shots

Monaghan will find it hard to beat this ref. Some of the frees being handed to Dublin are farcical

No but **** me I want them to win so bad. They are well up for it.

Some of the commentary from ex Dublin players during the week was utterly disrespectful and I'd say that is a huge driver.

I wasn't impressed with Dublin against Mayo who just didn't turn up at all for the 2nd half.

I'm certainly not impressed with them today. They are for the taking. If they can keep the first 10 of the second half tight they have every chance.
