Stag Cider

There was another cider that was available on draft around the same time as Hudson Blue, but was made by Heineken I think.

I used to work in a pub owned by Guinness (before Diageo) in the mid to late 90s, and we never sold Bulmers on tap, only long necks - not even the large bottles. We also sold Stag and Ritz (I know Ritz is ostensibly a Perry, and we'd mostly sell Ritz & Black, with a dash of blackcurrant).

Then Guinness produced HB and we got that in, huge marketing push for the time, then it disappeared.

Either at the same time, or a couple of years later (maybe into the early 00s) pubs that had somewhat exclusive ties with Heineken would sell a different cider, called something like McCaffrey's, Caffrey's or Cassidy's

Coopers was another mid 90's cider from Showerings.
