I have been interested in buying an iFi zen stream, but held off because I heard that the Chromecast facility is not yet available. Is there any word on when (or indeed whether) they hope to have the Chromecast facility working?

    Hi Neddyk,

    Thanks for the post!

There is an update for the iFi Zen Stream but Chromecast isn't listed on the official specs so it's still unavailable and unfortunately there's no info available of when it's going to be available.

Were there any other streamers you had your eye on?

    Kind regards

    David

    Thanks David.

No, I have fairly satisfactory streaming methods at the moment. The problem is that the streaming service I use most (Idagio) does not work with DLNA. Therefore I had to keep a chromecast audio just for this service, or else use Idagio through my computer. When the Zen Stream was originally announced it seemed like it might cover all sources I use, but it seems that the promise was too good to be true. Never mind, perfection will have to wait!

No problem Neddyk, I'll keep an eye out for any updates as well.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
