Traffic wardens

I've often thought I would enjoy that job. Everyone driving has had to specifically learn the rules, so they all know what they're doing is wrong.

I'd take a fair amount of satisfaction handing out tickets to people parking wherever they want, not bothering to pay their taxes, or anything else.

Going by the absolute plummeted and plummeting standard of driving, any sort of deterrent to dîckheadishness on our roads is welcome.

that said a neighbour back home was one for about 30 years and man, she was a tough uncompromising woman at the best of times… you’d walk barefoot to the depths of hell just to escape her stare so I can only imagine what she was like at work…

I won't say where but one of our local traffic wardens is a total **** his brother was also a traffic warden for a while and a gentleman in comparison.

I don't see any problem with the job but I do see a problem with the way some people do it.

The parasites, to use your term, are those who don't pay their motor tax, park where they'll disrupt traffic flow for the rest of us, obstruct footpaths while thumbing their noses at people who are trying to keep things right for the rest of society.

So are all of those on the thread who've pointed out your ignorance traffic wardens or boyfriends of traffic wardens?

Oh I'd do it for free.

Not the ticket checking or whatever. But fuckwits in handicapped spaces. Dopes blocking the road and sightlines. Muppets on the path.

Suppose I'd throw out a ticket for tax if gone over a couple weeks. Always paid it. Why subsidise cheap skates

How good would a website/portal where you could upload photos of this be? Include a picture of the registration plate, fine issued in the post.

My mate lives beside this. Its mad how you can just claim parts of Dublins land as your own with no response from authorities.

Aren't you such a cry baby then? You got caught and you throw a strop about the person, doing their job, who issued the ticket. What do you want? A free ride through life at the expense of everybody else? You're either a WUM, very naïve or one of life's spongers.
