Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    So it appears that apart from.the three lads mentioned in my last post that none of the rest of you care.
    I'm very disappointed in all of you.
    My advice to you all for what it's worth to you is to get rid of Brinty as GM.

    You are all under threat of getting thrown out for no reason at some stage if one of his pals wants a spot.


    I always liked the guy and he did great work in the league for a couple of years but he doesn't appear to be the same guy anymore.

    As I've said I'm gutted to be thrown out of this league for no reason.

    Thanks for another enjoyable season lads. Back to work this morning but couldn’t help watching the Chase Young vs Antonio Gibson decider last night, it could have gone either way for sure.

    Now the real work starts!! Robbing other peoples draft research...

    So Brinty has said that this is not a boards league.

    If that's the case then can you start a new thread without the Boards name in it and I'll try get a Boards Dynasty league up and running for next season.

    We'd need at least 8 to get going.

    I'd like to give people from this league another day or two. If they want in they are first up.

    Then I'll start a new thread maybe if we don't have enough.

    Gotta have it done by Saturday at the latest and have a draft by Wednesday.

    Never really got this going last year.

    If there's enough interest I'll start it this year.

    Anybody from the old league that's interested please post here before the end of August and I'll start a new league then.

    That should give enough time to get others if we don't have enough.

    i run a couple of dynasty leagues for boards members, there’s always interest,

    would you consider drafting in June, give teams a chance to get a settled roster before kickoff?

    I can put the word out if you want, or help you get it off the ground. One of my leagues (not one I run) folded in the last week or so and I’m looking to replace it.

    Five back so far, including myself. I've sent out pm's to other former members and I'll give it a day for them to get back to me.

    I'll then invite others to join up.

    Hopefully we can have at least eight and maybe ten by the end of the week and we can do an online draft. That draft will take a while so I'd recommend that we go for an 8pm kickoff when we do it. The reason for an online draft is that we'd never get an offline one done before the season starts.

    From next year then we can go with the offline drafts.

    League settings at the moment.

    Roster size is 30, 18 bench players. Team is QB, 2 x RB, 2 x WR, 1 x TE, 1 x Flex, DL, LB, DB and DP, 1 x kicker. 3 x IR slots. Scoring is standard with ppr which seems to be the standard setting. I didn't change anything apart from roster size.

    If anybody feels there should be changes please comment on it. Majority rules.

    I expect we'll be up to six tomorrow as I got a pm from Doogs and I've sent him an email invite.
