Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Questions about Tuath Housing

    If we pass interview for Tuath housing, does that mean we are off the County Council's books for good?

    We were told rent is much more expensive than the council.How is it calculated so we have some idea?

    Tuath is new to us so thanks in advance for any replies.

    You will be getting a good well managed house with absolute security of tenure for a mere fraction of the going rate for rent on the market

    If they house you , then your off the council list because your housed ,rents won't be much more than differential rents depending on incomes of those living in the house and yes they come unfurnished like all other social housing

    Rent depends on the scheme yye jouse was financed under. The May be the same as council Rent, or may be based on the actual house cost. Only Tuath can tell you what this house is.

    Has anyone brought a pet or pets to a Tuath house without permission? Are they very strict about pets? Thanks again.

    Better to get permission. Tuath do allow pets.
