Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I've been on boards for 15+ years, been seeing Gremlinertia's name for about 13 of those years, and today is the first time I've realised it's a partmanteau of Gremlin and inertia.

    I always pronounced it Gremlertina in my head, like the second part of the portmanteau was concertina.

    Thank Christ its Friday.

    A common misperception is that if you squeeze Gremlinertia a mild grumble-y sound is distantly heard, when actually a squeez’d Grem does sound quite like a concertina.
