Looking at the radar, there looks to be very heavy to torrential rain in east Wexford. Can anyone confirm that this is the case. Don't think such intense rainfall was forecast for Ireland.

Snowing in north Waterford - about half way between Clonmel and Waterford city- and settling.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,137 ✭✭✭highdef

0° and sticking snow on the N24 in Clonmel now @ about 40m ASL

  • Registered Users Posts: 159 ✭✭stevenup7002

Yeah, about 1cm on the ground near Clonmel where I am (not up the mountains, close to sea level). Heavy rain this morning turned to sleet, then to snow, and it's been snowing persistently for the past three hours, and only really started to stick to the ground in the past hour. Very surprised to see it.
