Anyone try this for alcohol consumption control? Does it work or is it likely just a gimmick?

Do you believe it could work?

Personally I think hypnosis could work, but not necessarily in the way it is often portrayed in the media.

If someone’s drinking is bothering them I think it’s worth a try.

I've tried it. Found it dreadful. Very amateurish. Overuse of the word 'relax' with silly imaging of feather beds and beaches. Each session starts with the same narration which quickly gets boring. I wasn't hypnotized in the slightest and could remember each session clearly. I paid by PayPal so was able to get my money back as Clear Minds wouldn't refund me!

I tried a sample and didn't take to the voice.

Maybe going in person to a recommended hypnotherapist might work better, can't do any harm. Sometimes anxiety plays a big part in drinking and it might not be a cure all but it might help ease anxiety and hp you cope better
