It appears that Ichabod Tubridy's New Year resolution is to cram even more misery into your Friday night helping of "entertainment" as he embarks upon the first LL of '22 with a rerun of the Charlie Bird show.

No doubt his second bout of isolation will get a mention as well. There he is now, being greeted by some KIND people, on his morning ramble (after work) to Dun Laoghaire pier.

Charlie is back to tell us about climbing a mountain. Not a proverbial one, given his diagnosis (which himself will no doubt go through all over again), but an actual one. With Vicky Phelan, and a slew of others.

"RTÉ stalwart Charlie Bird has been candid about his recent Motor Neuron Disease diagnosis, and tomorrow evening, Charlie will be back in studio, with Ryan Tubridy and a cast of willing volunteers to launch the inaugural Climb with Charlie event.

Charlie, along with Vicky Phelan, hopes to inspire thousands of Irish people to climb Croagh Patrick and other peaks around the country (and across the world!) on 2 April this year."

Not sure about O'Rourke, but I know Byrne had a near heart attack recently-that will hardly get mentioned, will it?

"Leitrim actor and writer Seamus O'Rourke will give his inimitable take on "New Year, new you", while comedian Jason Byrne will share his trials and tribulations of the last year."

The Lamberts must have a new show in the offing or something. In any case, poor Bosco will be left keening in a corner and rocking to and fro if they keep him until last.

"With special permission to stay up past his bedtime, Bosco will also be popping up for a chat with Tubs."

    BeatlesBeatlesJFK.

"There will also be music from Niamh Farrell and Somebody's Child who will be performing some classic Beatles tracks."

This along with MUP. Close the garage door and run the car. There is no hope.

Presumably another sermon about how we can all get through this and how the end is in sight.
