Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

There's not a lot you can do only let it rattle through the flock, The affected ewes will have immunity now.

Using toxovax and enzovax use is a fact of life for serious sheep farmers now, nothing as sickening as an abortion outbreak

Usual advice is to keep the empties as now immune. Keep women away from the ewes at lambing time as it can affect them. I think Deccox can be used in feed close to lambing to cut some losses, but I may check the details on that.

By the time the abortion storm shows itself there's a lot of damage done, I've seen Deccox used as a preventative alright, it'd be expensive. Vaccination is cheap once you get in the system where you're only vaccinating replacements

I know people who have put them back with the ram with good results, apparently they'll breed up to the 15th january. Toxo isn't near as sickening for the ewes as enzootic
