Adrian Kennedy on Classic Hits

    I just heard an advert on Classic Hits, that Adrian Kennedy has joined the station and will once again have his own show on radio, that will be broadcast live on Wednesday nights. I hope Jeremy might join him for a revival of "Get It Off Your Chest". This won't be the first time that Classic Hits will have two phone-in/talk shows. Back when it was 4fm, The David Harvey Show occupied the midday slot and The Niall Boylan Show was at 9pm.

    Don't think so, he's probably just filling in for Niall. The irony of it though... 9 years ago these two would have been radio arch-rivals.

    Who is classic hits PD now?

    Is it colm hayes by any chance?

    As far as i know Jeremy Dixon is Producing Nail Boylans show very interesting how is working out i think hayes Hired Kennedy back in 1996 before chris barry decided to jump from 104 Kennedy was brought in as back up.

    Barry tyred and did jump to 98fm after a huge court case Kennedy got the gig on 104 then but im sure hayes was PD of 104 at that time.

    Classic hits has definitely changed PDs lately i would say dixon and hayes together have Kennedy in the door my opinion would be Boylan will find the door out at some stage in time and it will be a day time slot for Kennedy and Dixon with a recorded show at night thats my bet

    We will soon see ......

    Kennedy has alway took higher figures over Boylan over the years i think its maybe a good move by the station hayes does know how to run a radio station

    My understanding is Dave Kelly is the PD for both stations , in relation to AK joining I think its a good thing . Competition keeps everyone on their toes and less repeats at night .

    Adrian didnt read the news last weekend on Newstalk. Suppose he will be on 4 nights a week on CH . Long days for Nial plus he says he has a long drive to work. Must be living up north perminant now.

    Adrian is only doing it every Wednesday, Niall is doing it Monday/Tuesday and Thursday evenings
