    Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone has a VW specialist they might be able to recommend.

I bought a set of OEM parking sensors and reversing camera but no one I check with seems willing/able to do it. Anyone know anyone in south west-ish Dublin (well really anywhere in Dublin or North Kildare) who might be able to install these?

I found instructions off the site where I got them and while I appreciate I'm not a mechanic it doesn't seem like a hugely onerous task that I would have thought someone with a good mechanical knowledge and patience would be able to manage so I'm a little surprised no one is willing to try. Like I said I'm not a mechanic so could be much more involved than the instructions suggest but if anyone knows someone who might be able to install them I'd appreciate a steer.

    Thanks

Ok, well I suppose the first question is if these are oe fitment, does your car have the required equipment to allow these be installed and work just by coding.

Depending on how much research you did before buying, it's possible your head unit (dash screen /radio) cannot take the camera feed direct without further equipment.

You could also be into requiring newer or different modules to run those systems.

If everything in the car is suitable, the coding should be no more that ticking a box.

The physical install should be straight forward.
