Black Friday, not everything is a deal, check previous prices

Caught the end of a report on UK tv yesterday about black Friday not being the great deal fest it's made out to be.

Think it was a Which magazine study of a selection of products, and nearly 90% of these so called 'deals' had been on sale for a lower price than the BF price.

So take the RRP with a pinch of salt and check to make sure you really ate getting a great deal.

Almost all "sales" are a fabricated nonsense.

    Almost.

Not in the states...consumer protection laws over there are pretty good and also its just generally not socially acceptable over there to advertise sales with the usual up to 50% and **** all in the shop is actually discounted to 50%
