Received 1 x Moderna in Ireland, 1 x Pfizer in Turkey, how to combine onto 1 cert

Hello,

Hoping somebody can help here. My girlfriend received a Moderna vaccine here and then 4 weeks later a Pfizer vaccine in Turkey. She is back here now, and although fully vaccinated, cannot get a Covid travel cert to say so. According to the HSE she has had one vaccine, according to the Turkish health system she has had 1 vaccine (they don't recognise Moderna apparently). I'm sure this is going to cause her problems with either travel in the future, or if it comes around to booster shots.

We've tried calling the covid helpline to no avail, after spending hours multiple times over the last month on the phone they couldn't deal with this case.

I've emailed the office of Simon Donnelly out of desperation and never heard back.

If it were me, I would take another Moderna here and be done with it, but she has valid concerns about taking a 3rd vaccine and combining different ones like this, which is not a recommended approach. So let's assume that's off the table.

Is there another route I can take, or somewhere I can physically show up to try to get the travel certificate?

Any help would be appreciated.

I had one in Ireland and second in Poland. HSE couldn't help and neither could Poland, but a pharmacy in Germany just made me a cert after I showed them the docs. One in France also told me it would be no problem, so if she's abroad again possibly that might be an option.

That says if you got a first dose in Ireland but a second somewhere else, you should apply for the certificate in the other country. So it doesn't look like there's an official way to get the cert in Ireland without getting the second dose here.

Check with covid website(covidcertificateportal.gov.ie ?) for update-today 30/9/21 on whether vaccines from different countries can be combined onto an Irish covid cert.Turkey might not be on the list yet

Why does she have valid concerns about combining them.now when she has already combined 2 different vaccines? Surely she wouldnt have combined them fge first time if they were valid concerns?

She has already combined vaccines. I assume she is still alive and well since she is looking for advice. So why the concern about combining them now? Just get the 2nd irish vaccine if she wants/needs the cert from here.

No, for the cert. It's there in the OP. A cert to travel and do all the other things you need a cert for.

That's a decision for her then and she will just have to do without the certs.

Thanks for the discussion, in the end she's decided to get the 3rd vaccine tomorrow as there isn't a way around the paperwork problem. I'm sure she'll be grand but I'll keep an eye on her just in case :-)
