Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Parental leave before 1 years service

Hello i was just wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to get 1 day a week parental leave . I see some things online saying you have to be with an employer for a year. Recently got job with hse and I’m wondering will I definitely have to wait the year.? With my other employer 5 years.

I vaguely recall my wife looking into this before also with the HSE and I think you had to take all your parental leave in one block you couldn't take it one day a week.
