Which is basically covering the "manufacture of ammunition" on a commercial basis,and I doubt they will review this for us to reload on a small scale🙁

I looked at the feasibility of following this act as an individual once to see if you could do it as a private person,and the answer is ,unless you have the Euro millions in your back pocket...

On a side note and off topic. I see FSI will be allowed to have and use a short firearm for the purposes of humane dispatch. It also said if I read correctly that this can include C/F pistols. Would these not need to be licensed and if so would these then be classed as new licences or is there an exemption that these guys are allowed use. Now it does specifically say FSI.

FSI is basically the Garda ballistics /forensics dept with a new lick of paint and name and civilian staff.

Just a thought, but the definition of ammunition under the 1925 act is

the word “ammunition” (except where used in relation to a prohibited weapon) means ammunition for a firearm but also includes grenades, bombs, and other similar missiles whether the same are or are not capable of being used with a firearm, and also includes any ingredient or component part of any such ammunition or missile;

So if we are potentially allowed to store small amounts of powder this may negate the whole manufacturing thing as you would technically not be producing ammunition as every element of a round is classed as ammunition, ie the powder, primers etc are each ammunition so you're just assembling it. Bit shaky maybe but just a thought.
