Very tough stage, kind of like a one day type. Lots of tired riders but some looking strong like Storer, Bardet, De la Cruz and a few others. Bernal will be dangerous, looks like a stage that will suit him if Roglic doesn't mark him out of it again. I'm hoping Enric Mas or some other Spanish cyclist wins it to keep alive their record of stage wins in every year that all three tours have been on.

It'll be fun for sure.

I'm trying to watch it but doesn't seem to be on GCN.

1:30pm start to coverage 18 lads away with over 8 minutes. Bardet and Storer are there. This could be interesting for kom points.

The breakaway are just starting the first of the classified climbs (Cat. 3). It'll be interesting to see what Storer and Bardet do.

I have to say Ineos did a great job so far on this stage but it will be tough for Yates to finish it off. Regardless it's a great effort and fair play for sacrificing their riders.

I spent a week or so in 2015 in a yacht which was based out of the start point Baiona.

The Pinta, landed back there following Columbus's discovery of America. There's a replica ship there now, it is really worth a visit.

Food and drink in cheap and fantastic.

One night we were there was night of their festival, very religious parade in terms of attire/statues etc. But I'm still not the better of the ladies dressed in nun like uniforms that looked like they had been sponsored by Ann Summers.

Hahaha !! That was the funniest stage win I've seen for years. The little Basque fella was like a yoyo while the winner looked like he fell out of a helicopter with 1.5km to go! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing him win

Apparently Lopez has not abandoned, hes back on his bike somewhere, but Movistar have no idea where.

I hope Lopez is OK as he's not showing as finished on the Vuelta website so if he's still on his bike then his head is probably not in a good place.

Sources close to López told Spanish newspaper El Tiempo that the Colombian stopped because he received orders to stop chasing in order to not harm Mas' place in the overall classification.

This is the logical thing that makes sense: MAL has a strop when he is told to sacrifice his 3rd place to ensure he didnt close the gap and bring back those who might threaten Mas' 2nd place.

Mas is the chosen one at Moivstar, regardless of what MAL shows in his results/.

I REALLY hope there is a 3rd Netflix series now ! Unzue hinted during the week that the series might not have been canned after all.....
