If you're on the desktop site @Panthro you can bookmark specific threads and receive updates when someone posts in them. Indicated by a Star I believe on the mobile site in the top right of the page

My background on the Touch site is white (Safari iOS15), not sure if it's a certain browser or what is making it blue for some people.

One workaround I've found for the lack of Follow Forum (or the missing drop down list of followed forums on desktop version) is - try and find the forum you want followed, bookmark any thread in that forum and then it will appear in Bookmarks under your icon top right or in the 'My Forums' tab on desktop. Not ideal at all tbh.

The more I play around with it, the more I hate it. Why do people always think change is better. All the old site needed was a little modernising. No need for a total revamp. I can find nothing that I want to look for. I’ll give it a week tops before I’m out

Has anyone ever cared about "who's online in this category".. yet it takes up far too much scroll space.

Also the distinction between each post isn't great.

Well I presumed the week we've been waiting the patient was extubated and improving. Maybe they shouldn't let people in to see him if he's not well. And he clearly isn't at the moment.

Have to agree the touch site now is truly awful and after a decade using it I will be looking elsewhere.

Took an age to find my categories to realise all the ones I subbed to aren't subbed any more so by clicking my categories on bottom of page and finding categories we want we now have to click on the cog and resubscribe. Subscribed posts are still there with the star on top but is such a muddled mess it is unusable. Such nonsense

I reckon they've done f all with the mobile version and that's a work in progress, seems to be working off a more 'out of the packet' vanilla theme imo

To be fair, they've been testing this version of the desktop site for years now and from what I gathered over time it was largely the same complaints about it.

Yeah we can sit back and say "But it's a free service" and you're quite right about it, but UX and friendliness are massively important when it comes to design and userbases.

I didn't mind that the site was offline for a few days, because I'm not a daily poster and it's a free service. But they crossed the line when they removed my god damn drop down menu!

I seem to have a different touch site to others??? Mine is white and black, not that awful blue background, it’s clear and concise and simple to navigate, I really like it

its not very easy on the eyes. You can’t just quickly glance at who it is that has posted a comment. You’ve got to properly focus on that part of the screen.

and what’s happened to my capital letters at the start of my paragraphs? It’s normally an automatic thing but it’s not using the new site.

The Like button on desktop is weird. You have to click to see who thanked, which is fine if it is 5 people, but what if it is 5 million people, like those thanking Higgins first post about car parts, after him/her waiting 12 years to peak😊
