Here is probably the best route out of Clon. It includes the glorious coastal road from Courtmacsherry to Garretstown beach and into Kinsale. The route is so good, I'd recommend rerurning the same way. You can cut a bit off by returning via Ballinspittle.

Nice coffee stop on the Old Head @ 43k, lots of options for coffee in Kinsale.

Oh, and stay off the N71, either east or west of Clon. Its not a bike friendly route, 100k speed limit, no hard shoulders and limited opportunities for overtaking = many close passes.

    Clon - Ring - Dunworley - Courtmac - Timoleague - Garrettstown - Old Head - Kinsale.

    Kinsale - Timoleague - Clon

    That’s close to 100k

Beautiful coastal views. Could even stop for a swim in Dunworley.

Edit: Beaten to it by mh. On the way from the Old Head to Kinsale turn right after about 2 miles and head to Sandycove. Nice quiet roads and the approach to Sandycove is really nice on a sunny day

You could also go south from Clon taking in Inchydoney and Dunmore House. Great views around there. Head on to Rosscarbery via Ardfield, Red and Long Strand. From Ross you could head north to Reenascreena and take the backroads to Clon. Stay off the Ross- Clon main road.
I wouldn’t advise this at the weekend as Inchydoney is too busy but would be grand during the week.

West from Clonakilty is nice as well. The coastal route is stunning.
This should give you an idea of the route. Inchydoney and the Galley head are optional. You've to do about 2k on the N71 through Rosscarbery but it's wide enough there. You can return the same way or continue to Skibbereen and return inland via Drinagh to Clonakilty
    Clon to Glandore
