5.45 Brighton Pink Flamingo win 6/1, Big Time Maybe 9/4 win

Pink Flamingo is out of form lately, but is a 2 time C & D winner off higher marks. I think the joint 9/4 fav Mahale is opposable, as I think she will attempt to make all, and be caught. She is also yet to win. The other joint fav Big Time Maybe; who is a stablemate of the selection, is a better bet than Mahale, and a fair price; but he has a female apprentice on board, and maybe today will be the day for Pink Flamingo. I think Big Time Maybe is too good a price to not back though, so will do em both here.

6.05 Beverley Moretti 9/1 ew

One that often sees a lot of support. Is drawn low in the one box, which is ideal for this one who likes to chase the pace. Not the most consistent, but likes top of the ground, and the extended 7 (7f. 96yds.) should be perfect - provided she settles. A hopeful pick.

8.10 Beverley Violette Szabo 11/1 ew

Yet to win, but has claims here based on her running at the course the last two times she ran at Beverley on decent ground. She came fourth over the extended mile last Sept, and 3rd over C & D the previous month. She's also dropping down the weights.

Topweight, and down into a Class 5 for the first time in a while. Has yet to win, but the trip should be fine. Has raced mainly on better ground in the past, but has come 2nd on soft in a bumper, so will take the soft going on trust. Hoping he can go well in a race where none of these have strong claims. He could win easy or come nowhere, but at the price the win and place parts look fair.
