Tyres tearing up so bad so quickly. Strategy gone out the window. I wonder if People will call for Pirelli head again.

Is it a bit early to pit? That's 20 laps on used mediums now

    Yes, seems very early.

I think they had to be the first to go, considering where Perez is too - he will still be a massive tool to them. (if the mercs do pit of course).

Verstappen needs to cool it a bit. No point taking life out of the tyres early. Can make a second a lap easily enough and there's always a chance of a Safety Car closing the field up anyway.

Amazingly no reliability issues for cars this far into the race.

I don’t think Hamilton will pit unless there is a safety car.

I don’t see Bottas slowing Max down by much.

Pirelli said the hard compound tires should last 45 laps and they were basically done at 20 ish?

Max has to pass Bottas of course if they don't pit and who knows what his tyres will be like when he gets to them. I think they went a few laps too early for those tyres to be comfortable getting to the end with.

    Bad line bad line caller.

Max closing the gap very well, that on-board also shows minimal to no wear on his front left.

So unless they just decide to drop off all of a sudden this looks good for Max.

Radio issues all over the shop.

Max pulls into shot just behind Bottas just as Bottas reckons he has no fronts left on the car.

10 laps age difference between mediums and hards, hope Verstappen hasn't used them up already. :/

If anyone can do it Max can.

Max will have a dress rehersal here on Bottas in terms of following the same car,

The driver will be a different story alltogether.

Max's tyres don't look great though.
