    Yumna Afzaal (their daughter), 15
    Mr Afzaal's mother, 74

    They are survived by the son, 9.

    They were murdered by a 20 year old Islamophobic white supremacist in London, Ontario.

    Didn't see a thread about this horrific attack. If the perpetrator was Muslim rather than the victims, you can be sure the usual cohort here would have been falling over themselves in the rush to post their "thoughts."

    May the victims rest in peace.

    Terrible thing to happen. If proven it was race based I'd imagine a domestic terrorist attack could be added to the charge sheet?

    It's not really surprising though when Islamic savages are constantly committing terror atrocities in the West that a white person is going to do the same thing in retaliation. Yes it's awful and shouldn't happen but it's a direct result of liberal politicians immigration policies which are bad for both the immigrants and the non immigrant population.

    You won't see too many terror attacks in Japan, Poland or Hungary these days. Because these countries are homogenous meaning there are not racial tensions amongst the population and there is a high level of social cohesion.

    It's not really surprising though when Western government savages are constantly committing illegal invasions in the Middle East in the name of democracy that a person from there who may have lost their family, their home etc is going to retaliate. Yes it's awful and shouldn't happen but it's a direct result of right wing politicial hawks foreign policies, you reap what you sow!

    As for no racial tension in Poland, Hungary etc…pull your head out of The Telegraphs hole!!!

    Very sad, a family wiped out and a little boy left orphaned and traumatised I’m sure. No excuse for it, just a horrible excuse for a human being exacting some kind of misplaced justice or vengeance.

    I don’t think it’s less horrific due to the victims religion or ethnicity, I think this stuff has become so common, everyone is just becoming indifferent to it. Crazy as that sounds.

    White supremacist terror attacks do not receive the same coverage, when other groups commit violence. It results in a skewed view of the world, when violence is downplayed when white supremacists commit it.

    Also, conservatives in Canada blocked a condemnation of Islamophobia right after the attack:

    Liberal leader outraged after Ford government blocks motion to condemn Islamophobia


    This is typical of conservatives these days. They fan the flames and pretend to be innocent of incitement, when they refuse to condemn this type of hatred.

    Remember one of the reasons a lot of social media can't get rid of white supremacists, is that it would result in the removal of mainstream conservatives, who are basically indistinguishable from white supremacists to the algorithm.
