Anyone up for a bit of fun.
We each select two ships we think are beautiful and say have 30 ships to choose from then vote off one each day until we have a winner?

We can work out the details and see how it would go

I'm up for that. Another way to do it is put them in randomized groups of 2 in a tournament bracket and vote which one we want to advance.

I say as long as its Star Trek it should be ok if it gets more people interested.

Beyond that, I'm a little stumped; I was going to select the Olympic class for badness, though I kinda like how it feels more a scientific, observational vessel.

For a real choice: it may be an unpopular but while the films themselves were godawful (bar the third one), I've always been partial to the Enterprise redesign from the 2009 reboot. The sleek, stylish look was a nice change, without completely abandoning the design principles.

While she does look goofy in profile that three quarter view is very cool and front on she's just menacing.

The Jem'Hadar fighter has a really insect like shape that I always thought was cool.

The Akira was definitely my favourite, and the D'deridex was a classic. Loved the newer Romulan Valdore calss warbirds in Nemesis.

Miranda is a favorite, but I've always been partial to Excelsior.

Gigantic nacelles, and a very balanced design. This looked like a very natural evolution from the Constitution class.

In a similar vein, talking about best looking Enterprise; it's always this one for me:

Is there a way to keep peoples nominations apart in round 1 at least?
