Any local walks suitable for walking a dog off lead?
Not a local but spend a bit of time here.
    Many thanks
    Roy

We would take the dog to Blackwater Park, if you start the normal walking path and then after about 100-150 metres as you approach the sports pitches which will be on your left, take a right and over a small mound and there is a small field there. You can also continue through a mucky patch in the corner and there is a much larger field. We go to both of those and let him off the lead.

There is also the Ramparts which is a lovely scenic walk along the Boyne that starts on the Kentstown Road, we let him off the lead there too.

Actually, just thought to link/mark them...

Blackwater Park - we go into the ones marked 1 & 2 but there is a third on there

    Ramparts Trail is here too
