Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hi folks, desperately need to get a new car this weekend and wondering your opinions on the one here. I have a 30 minute commute to work on motor way each day so going Diesel.

    I can go higher but never usually spend more than 6K on a car.

    If you're getting that age of an Avensis, they got a facelift in January 2012. Also higher spec ones have a touch screen head unit with reversing camera. Worth considering.

    I like the look of this estate version. Good service history, test and tax, reasonable mileage, top spec.

    That car looks to me like it has two different shades of grey on the passenger side.

    Many thanks, had a look at the 2012 ones and definitely worth spending the extra few bob.
    Seen one in Waterford there with a two year NCT and 180,000 kms for 7K

    You dont reaaalllly need a diesel

    I have an avensis and they are a good car
    Not the most exciting but fairly reliable
    Ask was electric handbrake worked on
    Any injectors been changed previously
    Was battery or alternator changed
    Common items need doing on those years
