Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Contract Worker & Jury Duty

Just got a letter today for jury duty... Am a little worried, as i'm on contract where i work and its due up in October...I'm pretty certain of getting permanency as things stand... But if i'm out for a few weeks on Jury Duty i'm concerned it might count against me...

Don't panic.
Phone them up and explain you're on a contract and pretty much essentail. maybe they'll accept a letter from your employer. Completely at their discretion though.
