I'd started actually typing out stuff explaining why there is no 'plandemic conspiracy' but ffs, what was I thinking.

The 'plandemic' stuff is bollocks. I know that, the courts know that, the people who've died from covid... well. Deep down, I suspect even John, Gemma, and possibly even you actually know that.

Lets try keep the thread on topic, which is the hilarious fact that Gemma and John are in dire legal and financial trouble.

Another one to add to the Gemma failure list.

Sacked by the Indo, failed to get a nomination for the presidency, less than 2% of the vote in the European elections, 4% in the Dublin Fingal by-election, less than 2% in the General election, banned from Youtube and Twitter, was sued for defamation, failed in the Covid legislation case, has no friends and is disowned by her family.

Can't think of a bigger loser in the country. Quite literally. At some point you'd think she might have a look at her life and decide she may not be on the right track. Shes a complete failure.

Social media giants such as Facebook and Twitter are reluctant to police this phenomenon, which allows the influence of "the idiots" to proliferate. Just look at Trump and his followers in the US. Similarly with Brexit in the UK, the useful idiots on social media have allowed the Tories to promote the lunacy of "Global Britain", another vacuous bit of nonsense.

One year ago, almost to the day, Leo Varadkar publicly said "The science on masks is equivocal". Now maybe he was mistaken or lying but "anti-mask nutjobs spreading their nonsense"?

Until very recently you didn't have total conformity morphing in real time to match whatever politicians say is the current belief.

For instance in the 1980s Garret Fitzgerald would not have gotten away with being as labile as Varadkar. He could not have deployed sudden total reversals in policy or rhetoric and if he had people who noticed the inconsistency or objected would not be dismissed as insane.

The scientific research evolved, as medical experts studied how SARS Cov2 was being transmitted. Instead of fomite transmission (being picked up by touching surfaces), it was discovered that airborne aerosol transmission was the primary cause. Therefore, logically, controlling generation of aerosols by wearing a face masks makes good sense.
Hence, the change in policy, with proven benefits.
