    Hi all,

Aside from the usual McDonalds and Supermacs DriveThru options, where else around Galway is doing a takeaway or click and collect service available around lunchtime in Galway?

Looking for something a bit better than a burger and chips and that could be eaten in a car or outdoors handily enough.

    Any suggestions please?

Tuco's across from Lynch's Castle or Vocho across from Park House Hotel if you like Mexican.

    Dough Bros for pizza.

McCambridge do nice rolls, different than the deli counters in normal shops.

Do mccambridges do anything like that now?

They do, seems they are on deliveroo, should have gone to their business page first :o

    Decent list of places here:

Also Xian does tasty Asian Street food which would be worth a try.

There's a few decent options for lunch.

The Universal have really good sandwiches (steak sandwich is extremely good)
Kappa-ya have bento box type lunches
Tartare have a good mix of sandwiches and cakes
Ean has some great sandwiches and pastries

Picked up a takeaway picnic from tomodachi. Just ring after 12 and you can collect by 1.

Have used Wa Sushi click and collect several times. Very efficient collection from the doorway.

This is good rustic food. Very popular with Polish as it's Polish owned and Polish style food.
I've eaten there several times and always liked it.
    Usually mash and cheesy chicken.

Is there any restaurant or takeaway with outdoor seating to eat outside the premises around the town or outskirts anyone know?

Not officially until next month, review the opening guidelines on gov.ie

    Thanks for that.

I don't suppose anyone could recommend any nice scenic spots to park in to eat a takeaway in the car?

Any nice spots around town or even within a 10/15 minute drive perhaps?

    Woods or parks say?

You could drive to Salthill or Silverstrand, park, and eat. Obviously, there is Eyre Square or find a spot along the canal. Or head down to the Spanish Arch or anywhere along the long walk.

The best thing to do is to get out of the car and go for a wander to discover for yourself.
