Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I have heard that one is unlikely to catch Covid from surfaces as opposed to breathing it in from the air .

    Can anyone tell/reassure me that this is indeed the case and perhaps quantify the relative likelihood of catching this virus from these 2 different sources of infection?

    Is it half as likely ?A hundred times less likely? In between?

    Also is the new B117 variant a new variable in this regard?

    Is it more transmissible from surfaces than the old virus from last year?
