Doesn't help that most of the names are gobbledegook (to me anyway, with all due apologies to Spanish speakers on here!)

When is Chihuahua coming up?? Or even better, Tequila?? :D

    Veracruz 25
    Colima 24
    Guanajuato 21
    Nayarit 20

    Veracruz and Colima advance

I had to think twice how to say Tlaxcala ha ha
    And I still don't have a clue

Baja California is cool; I like it.

Sonora is kind of silly. Then it's a decision between nice patterns and an axe-wielding Maya.

    Baja
    Guerrera
    Quintana Roo
    Sonora

    1. Sonora - that's a laugh! Tillage farming, livestock, fish.... and a bit of weighlifting in the middle. I love it!

    2. Quintana Roo - love the name, and a nice simple flag, reminds me of an early years arcade-game angry-face character of some sort.

    3. Guerrero - is that Fred Flintstone in the middle? Another amusing one. (I'm sure they're not meant to be amusing!!)

    4. Baja California - no, just no.

Well feck you too Heidi! :p

Quintana Roo I like simple to the point
Sonora I like it, its kind of goofy like a nursery school flag or the flag for a pet zoo
Guerrero Wow they certainly have some symbolism going on there
Baja California Bit too comic book super hero. Get a proper flag lads if you want to win on Boards.

    Quintana Roo
    Guerrero
    Baja
    Sonora

QR and Guerreo have the indigenous edge in them

I'm not sure which particular smart remark annoyed you (possibly all of them?) but I do apologise....... :D

Picked the exact opposite to him orderwise!

It's the fact you voted the exact opposite order to me, and with equal like and dislike for the ones I disliked and liked :)

Ah Mexico, this is more like it! They're all cool

Guerrera - an Aztec warrior wearing a dead animal!
    Sonora - giant whale, cow
Quintana Roo - simple and classy
Baja - it's nice, but a bit cluttered and religious for me

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,339 ✭✭✭✭Tauriel

    1. Baja California
    2. Guerrero
    3. Sonora
    4. Quintana Roo

Hah! Hadn't copped that. Well..... I suppose I'll apologise for that also :D

These are tough to pick between...

    1. Baja California - there's an elegance to this crest the others don't have, it feels 'flag like'
    2. Sonora - I have no clue what is going on here but it is interesting :D
    3. Guerrero - The crest is a better shape and has more to it than my last place, we should all dress up as leopards with stick weapons... ;)
    4. Quintana Roo - boring, and little effort to create a crest that catches the eye

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

We have a three way tie for 2nd place as it stands. Next vote crucial

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,711 ✭✭✭Sawduck

Quintana Roo simple yet effective, no over the top shenanigans
    Guerrero - nice looking flag
Baja California - a bit to crazy but kinda cool looking too
Sonora - not a fan of it

    Quintana Roo 21
    Baja California 19

    Guerrero and Quintana Roo advance

Any chance your could list them at the bottom as well just to make it a little easier for those of us posting on phones?

    Baja California Sur
    Durango
    Sinaloa
    Aguascalientes

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,794 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    1. Aguascalientes - warm waters, lovely!!! And kudos for going a bit different on the colour scheme

    2. Baja California Sur - some more water, and nice fishies, and is that a mermaid? or a cockle shell? or a bridal veil? so many possibilities!

    3. Durango - all I can see tonight is cartoon characters! They look like two Scooby-Doo versions of wolves! Cute, though.

    4. Sinaloa - FAR too much going on there. Simple is the way to go for me!

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,676 ✭✭✭✭Electric Nitwit

    Durango - dogs
    Baja California Sur - fish
    Sinaloa - interesting mess
    Aguascalientes - boring mess

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,509 ✭✭✭Purgative

Baja California Sur elegant and simple
Sinaloa A bit of everything, though overall OK.

    Aguascalientes Its OK

Durango Dogs hanging from a tree nah not so much

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,711 ✭✭✭Sawduck

Sinaloa - nice colours and it has a bird eating a snake, pretty awesome
Baja California Sur - I like the silly fish
Durango - not sure what's happening here, dogs in a tree? But it is a nice flag
Aguascalientes - nice flag too but the other ones are more impressive

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,144 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

I'm plumping for weird in this competition I think.

So Durango for two pointer dogs stuck in a tree.
Sinaloa for what - a lizard making a mess of a bidé while a deer speaks to an anchor? Mad stuff
    Agua-wotsit
    Baja California Sur

Sinaloa. A lot going on but they have the eagle.
Durango. They kept the dogs as in the original city of Durango in Spain.
    Aguascalientes. Different colours
Baja Sur. I think I've seen a school with the same coat of arms
