Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hi , I have a couple of old tyres I need to get rid of, the recycling centres don’t take them so any ides how to get rid of them as environmentally as possible?

    Our local recyling centre still accepts them but not in large quantities. It is managed by Mulleady's. They might have a centre near you and worth a ring.
    Failing that, most tyre sales outlets will take them off you . My local guy charges about €2.50 each as far as I can remember.

    Local tyre centre might take them and charge you.

    It must vary between recycling centres as I bought tyres to one a while back

    There’s 3 tyres so not too many, based in South Dublin, I’ll try the local Advance Tyres tomorrow. Thanks for the replies.
