Irish Actor or Personality that could play a great Bond Villian?

Anyone you might think that could do this well?

I often thought that Michael O'Leary could give it a go?

Two ways this could go taking the pi55 and saying Fr Dougal.
Or giving it some serious tought and bringing Daniel Day Lewis out of retirement and if he's not irish enough I think
Gabriel Byrne would do a serious job also

Last few Bond villains have been dire. That said, I'd love to see Tom Vaughan-Lawlor give it a go.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.

Not enough of an air of menace?

How about Daniel O'Donnell playing against type, a soft Donegal accent doing dasterdly things from his lair in the mountains?

    Stephen Donnelly.

It’d be a **** movie where the evil plan fell apart very early on.

That cage fighter fellow from Crumlin

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

    Claire Byrne.

She is trying to destroy the world from the comfort of her back garden shed.

The opening scene would be her laughing hysterically as she witnesses her evil body guard ( played by Davy Fitz ) throw Miriam O'Callaghan off the 40 ft.

Willie is more of a henchman than the main villain. Like little Nik Nak in The man With the Golden Gun :pac:

He could be the dumb 'heavy'.

Claire Byrne, an icy-hearted b1tch, à la Rosamund Pike, would make a great villain.

Charles Haughey would have been perfect; he had his own island, a must for all aspiring Bond villains.

I was about to post him, a touch of a Max Zorin type psychopath to Haughey.

Michael O’Leary from Ryanair. He is the only one with enough money to do all the bond villan stuff.

Gerry Adams could be a decent Bond villain.

There was a Jackie Chan film where Jackie want up against the 'Ra and Pierce Brosnan's head baddie character was a ringer for Gerry.
