Phone Tripod

Does anyone know of a decent, cheap tripod with a phone adapter on it, to use for recording my swing? Hoping for something that goes to around 50" tall, trying to avoid using Amazon, any recommendations from somewhere in Ireland?

David ruddy golf sells them on his website I think.

I’d look for something to clip onto your stand bag or trolley, I did that with my go pro, I had a high speed Casio camera that everyone used to want but the lens went

Would you not want something a bit taller than that? Seems like the best view would be about 4 1/2 - 5 foot off the ground.

The Torjim 50 inch extendable one works well , and is probably what you want.

Unfortunately i bought mine on amazon

Look for XLHVTERLI Golf Phone Holder on Amazon. Alternative of a tripod. You can attach it to any golf club in your bag. Basically your club becomes the tripod. Got one myself and is great for filming from different heights and angles. Or you can get yourself a selfie stick and let it stand in your bag. I know it's amazon but they still deliver to Ireland. There won't be a tax/import problem.

I picked one similar to this one last year and it works perfect. Its Bluetooth enabled from a remote fob, Extendable and the tripod screws into the base. It would be ideal..
You shouldnt get caught for vat or customs at that price either.

The one I got is not the exact same as this, but very similar.
Tis one extends to 24.5 inches, I'm not sure what length you would need it to b, but I know the one I got would certainly do the job.

Not sure about that, I would need it to be around 55-60" or so for my needs.

Well it needs to be above hip height at least to be useful for recording a swing, anything lower isn't going to produce a video that is useful from an analysis perspective.

I use "Coach's eye" for recording and analysing. I find it very good. You can play back in slow motion at different speeds or even frame by frame. They are of course other ones like "technique" but I find "coach's eye" more user friendly

I take your point about regarding height. But it wouldn't need to be 55 or 60 inches to give you a good view.

VirtualPro on Android is good(and free).

Yeah it wouldn't need to be that tall, but definitely over hip height anyway, ideally halfway between hip and shoulders, and I'm tall enough so it wouldn't be far off.
