Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I was all set to go with Martial up until talk of Cavani being started ahead of him. Either way it would be a good chunk of cash to get a 1 point cameo so not selecting either myself. Now have my free hit team as:


    De Gea
    Saiss, Tierney, Dias
    KDB(c), Fernandes, Son, Saka
    Kane, Lacazette, Wilson

    Norris, Gundogan, Clark, Mitchell

    Maybe a newbie question here but if you cant field a full team are you deducted points? (ie -8 for 10 players)

    I only have 5 players eligible for this weeks games.

    No you are not punished for fielding less than 11 players.

    You can field 1 player, if you like, and receive his points.

    With only 5 players playing would you not use the free hit chip ?

    I’d never go with 5 players so it’s stick or twist, I’ve made 4 transfers to field 11, I’ll then use wc next week, I’m hoping my strategy pays off over the two weeks

    I had 7 players until DCL and El Ghazi weren't playing
    My thinking was to use the free hit next week when there are 16 games rather than maximizing my what I can get from these games with lower number of teams/pool of players if that makes sense.
    take the hit this week in terms of points; take the free hit next week and maximize what I can get from GW19....

    Free Hit already used earlier in season - wildcard next week.

    If you’re wildcard Next week would you not do it this week to set up for gw 18, 19 and beyond?
    Might be tight for time on planning though!

    Surely if you only have 6 with a game this week, you have a rake of players with Double Gameweeks next week without using the FH, no?

    Any thoughts on changing Stones, Son and Laca to Bellerin, Sterling and Wilson.

    Looks worse to me but having Sterling and Kdb v Brighton would be sweet, if they both start which is a risk......
