Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Rules
    - No more than 3 Nominations per person, please.
    - This is for any game released in 2020 (digital or boxed)
    - Must apply to a game that was released on or after January 1st 2020 (search for the game on http://www.gamefaqs.com and look at the "Release Data" menu item for a release date). Also see here for a list of games that were released in 2020.
    - Top 6-8 will go forward for the Vote (exact number dependent on number of nominations received).
    - This is the second group of nominees. Next group (of 3) in a few days. Hoping to have poll up before Christmas.

    Gamestop PS5 launch (no comms with customers, 50 quid to join queue, etc).
    Gamers being absolute dicks with death threats and hate in general.

    -> €60 for zero-effort cash grab when you can a better experience with rom emulation, no quality-of-life updates
    -> time-limited availability to boot

    Sony completely downplaying the backwards compatibility of the PS5 pre launch.

    Made it sound like they were hiding a disaster, seems like they got it nigh on perfect in reality.

    Actually Sony's whole build up marketing, actually undersold the console and made it look like it was weaker in lots of ways to their competitor.
