God I love when teams win the toss at Anfield and make us attack the Kop in the first half.

Kompany did it a few times and Spurs did it tonight.

Means more to stuff them after that

    Jose losing his sh1t lol

He was utterly negative from start to finish. Such a waste of talent like Kane & Son. 80% of the game must’ve been played in Spurs half

Would have been more fun if that stayed a draw

Shearer would be proud of that header.

Mourinho's anti football in the 1st half fully got exactly what it deserved.

Great performance by Liverpool. Bullet header to win it.

Perfect illustration of how much the game has passed Mourinho by. Liverpool are there to be got at at the moment and he sat back despite having the two most on form attackers in the league. Pathetic stuff to be honest.

Also a perfect illustration of why Spurs will realistically be nowhere near the title race.

First bit of daylight at the top all season.

3 times they got at the TAA and Williams channel and created danger and he stopped doing it and made negative substitutions

Spurs were playing with 6 at the back for periods of the game

    Liverpool miles the better team
But because of lack of defender and Spurs havimg Son amd Kane they where always in it

The better team on the night won it. Fully worth the victory.

24% possession and 2 shots on target for Spurs. Only managed a pass every 40 seconds or so and even with the that they only found their man three out of five attempts.

What a result, love it. Jose will get a lot of criticism, and his football is painful to watch but if Kane finished off that easy header from 5 yards out it would have been a different tone.

I know results are everything and the end justifies the means, but Jesus imagine watching that Spurs team week in, week out. Allardyce football with faster frontmen.

Poch would be playing nice stuff with that squad.

Curtis Jones demanding the ball over and over again from a seasoned world class player Fabinho at 19 fupping years of age , what a prospect.

A looping deflection and a set piece goal. If Pep did it it would be called sterile ;)

There was almost as much deflection on the shot as there is in this Jose interview.

    That was a wild interview

But not nearly as much combined as in your reply :pac:

What a bitter little man Jose is. The stats show Liverpool bossed that game. Trumpian like that interview.

I fully disagree. Nobody has gotten a single point from coming to Anfield this season and nobody has won in 65 games before tonight.

The game hasn't passed him by. Liverpool were excellent tonight but only scraped the win. His tactics were spot on and he's come closer than anyone to a point at Anfield this season.

I'm absolutely buzzing we won, and love that his tactics failed, but that was a top quality game of football between 2 top teams, one of which is better than the other but he set up perfectly to try and nullify it.

Many Liverpool fans would have taken a draw before the game and even during the game.

The ball doesn't hit the post or Kane manages to hit the target from 6 yards and it's completely different.

Mourinho is box office. Loved that interview. Yeah he sounds ridiculous but you love that as a fan if he's you're manager.

He's still got it. And that's why it's great to beat him

Liverpool had 11 shots on target. If they had of been a little more clinical it could have been a cricket score.
