I am starting to think it could come south of the border. If it was just the 6 counties they would call it Rally GB still, they are advertising it as rally Ireland from what i can see

Not looking all that promising judging by this article but all we can is hope. This confirms it would only run as "Rally GB" but we wouldn't mind I'm sure. Imagine the WRC cars flying over Torr Head for example.
Would be fantastic to see it back.

Ypres rally must be in doubt with COVID taking off big time in Belgium.

It has to be looking dodgy. Two large national rallies have been cancelled there in the last couple of weeks.

    Nope, it's going ahead.

Hopefully so. Currently it's set to go ahead without any spectators but things are in a bad way in Belgium right now with COVID rates at 14-day incidence per 100,000 of 1,208.26 (the highest in Europe)

Delighted that Ogier signs up for one more year with Toyota

Nice Colin McRae video on WRC+ too celebrating 25 years since his championship win.

Good rally to watch, very close! Would be great to see Evans take the title.

I’d love to see Evans win but I’d love Ogier to take another too. It all could be decided on the power stage tomorrow.

Crazy conditions on SS10. It’s going to be an interesting few stages left in the rally.

Big blow but not over Just yet. Still a few tricky stages to go. Remember Tommi in 98. He won from the hotel lobby.

It could still come down to the power stage.

If SS12 wasn't cancelled i'd agree... But tomorrows stages are all circuit based, Ogier won't fook up and this Toyota engine won't let go in sight of the finish!

I'd love to be proven wrong though by this time tomorrow!:)

There’s still loads to go wrong in those man made super special stages too though. While the Toyota is strong and unlikely to give up it did just that only two rallies ago in Turkey. I’d be delighted if either won though.

Ogier has to drive with the thoughts that Evans has a 19 point advantage before he scores himself. Evans will have to throw everything at the power stage.

Ogier 7 time champ. It was a great drive from him this weekend. Very hard look for Elfyn but he has showed that he can be right up there with the best.
Lappi not very hopeful of a drive next year.

Pity to lose Lappi but this is the perils of having only 2 proper manufacturers in the Championship. Hard on M-Sport to even keep going the way it is at the minute.

2017-2019 will be looked back on as a golden age I think

We've been hearing that same story from MSport for the last 10-15 years.... It's getting old now. They have a business model and they stick to it... Apart from Ogier's time.

Fair play to Lappi and he's right... Professionals should be paid, he's not going back with a bag of cash just to drive. I presume Citroen have been footing the bill up to now?

Ya he's definitely been using the money Citroen had to pay out to him to fund his driving this year.
Talks of young Fourmaux in an M-Sport deal. Theyre basically waiting for 2022 and the new regs again when they tend to do well out of the box but fall behind in development after that.

On a much brighter note looks like Breen will see much more WRC seat time in 2021: https://dirtfish.com/rally/wrc/breen-set-for-biggest-hyundai-wrc-program-yet-in-2021/

Fourmaux coming with FFSA money i presume... Breen is a funny situation, still in limbo. he's not a young lad anymore....

Breen and Sordo confirmed to share the third i20 for 2021. Craig's first outing will be Sweden.

That would be great if they can organise it.
