And DDA to get a try!

if the BP is wrapped up by then, I'd like to see them get the likes of Ahern, Daly and French on the field by the 60th minute and give them meaningful game time, rather than a token 5 minutes at the end

Must be one of the youngest sub benches we have ever put out, average age of under 22.

Excited to see Goggin playing outside DDA

Would have liked to have seen Salanoa involved, get him some game time after returning from injury

Not really expecting a masterclass from Goggin. He's not back long and will probably need a few more games to get back to the match pace.

    Monday Night Rugby time.

Wycherly out. Tom Ahearn starts and Tommy O Donnell added to the bench

That makes tonight a bit more interesting! If Ahern can replicate his U20s form then Munster have a serious prospect on their hands. I'm guessing he'll play the 80 minutes with no second row replacement.

Will be very different to how he played at 20s but yeah serious prospect. Still think there's lots more like him out there.

County Waterford and other areas like it are a goldmine for potential pros.

"It was a clear penalty, but I don't know what it was for."

How has Jack o'donoghue been ignored by Ireland. He is such a good player

I’m pretty sure Toland just called it a “skull cap”...

He's been capped. There's simply better players at his own province and others.

    Fierce unlucky for gallagher

That looks bad for Gallagher. Feck.

Time and again o'donoghue is the lynchpin of this secondary Munster team. Which suggests he deserves more consideration as a first team player both for his province and his country

Delighted for De Allende, well deserved first try. He's transformed the backline. Coombes with a super offload also. Nearly got a great try of his own with 3 hanging off him shortly before this

    DDA scores.

Zebre are game in defence but they're going to ship a YC in the scrum eventually.

Great heads up play from Coombes

Sounds a lot like Rhys Ruddock. A player also.deemed not good enough by successive coaches at test level. They're good players that obviously have some glaring deficiencies in the eyes of the coaches.

Unfortunately he will need to be starting more in biggest games for Munster to get game time with Ireland. I agree he needs to be looked at more. Would be great seeing him involved with Ireland

Think JOD has suffered a bit for his versatility. Gets put all across the backrow. Also that injury didn't help either. An amazing player to have, super lineout operator offensively and defensively especially

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,906 ✭✭✭leakyboots

DDA's fend is a sight to behold, every game he sends a couple of opposition flying when out wide

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,906 ✭✭✭leakyboots

    Class, offloads galore

    Ahern is quick!

    Played fullback!

Ahern in open field is something else.

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Oh, Cloete....

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,906 ✭✭✭leakyboots

    Oh, Cloete....

Mixed a fantastic passage of play by clearing and winning a turnover by then butchering a try. Kind of sums up his time with us
