    Munster:
    Mike Haley; Darren Sweetnam, Rory Scannell, Damian de Allende, Matt Gallagher; JJ Hanrahan, Craig Casey;
James Cronin, Kevin O’Byrne, Stephen Archer; Jean Kleyn, Fineen Wycherley; Jack O’Donoghue (C), Tommy O’Donnell, Gavin Coombes.

Replacements: Diarmuid Barron, Josh Wycherley, John Ryan, Billy Holland, Jack O’Sullivan, Nick McCarthy, Ben Healy, Dan Goggin.

    Ospreys:

    15. Mat Protheroe
    14. Luke Morgan
    13. Tiaan Thomas-Wheeler
    12. Keiran Williams
    11. Hanno Dirksen
    10. Stephen Myler
    9. Shaun Venter

    1. Gareth Thomas
    2. Ifan Phillips
    3. Tom Botha
    4. Adam Beard
    5. Bradley Davies
    6. Will Griffiths
    7. Dan Lydiate ©
    8. Gareth Evans

    16. Dewi Lake
    17. Rhodri Jones
    18. Ma’afu Fia
    19. Rhys Davies
    20. Olly Cracknell
    21. Matthew Aubrey
    22. Josh Thomas
    23. Scott Williams

John Hodnett's likely season ending injury means TOD starts at 7. John Ryan is on the bench having been released by Ireland. After an excellent showing at fullback against Dragons, Matt Gallagher moves onto the wing.

Ospreys arrive in Limerick with a poor season to date under their belts, with a surprise loss at Zebre last week a particular low point.

Munster should expect a full return from tomorrow.

Scrap that, I see there is already a match thread open https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2058131996

You must expect Munster to overpower Ospreys quite comfortably, and perhaps de Allende to break his duck...and Gallagher to have a massive impact today

Providing Munster do the minimum today and come away with 4 points, that will leave them 7 points clear of Scarlets with a game in hand.

Not a bad position to be in this early in the campaign after beating the main conference rivals already.

I would personally be happy with 4 points and no injuries this early in the season. Munster would be 7 clear of Scarlets with a game in hand if that's how it plays out.

Munster will absolutely hammer them...I expect a 25 point win ... Munster have a bench that will turn the screw in the second half...

Just posting here to make sure this is the thread used for the match.

Given Ospreys season to date and the Munster selection, I'd say a comfortable home win with BP unless there's horrible weather.

Will hopefully see something more from DDA today. He has gone well thus far and shown glimpses of his talent but I certainly don't see the best 12 on the planet there yet.

    Block on Coombes?

Kleyn broke Bradley Davies. Massive hit.

    incredibly sloppy try to concede.

    Block on Coombes?

Would have liked to have seen it again. Lydiate looked to change his line to give him a shove

Anyone else having trouble getting the EirTV app to cast this to a streaming device, a ChromeCast in my case?
Currently watching the match in low-res chunk-o-vision on TG4 :(

Seemed very similar to a try Munster got early in the season, with Haley offloading setting up the counter attack (can’t quite remember against who?).

    Strong stuff

    Better! Good attrition and power

Casey needs to be more demanding so he can get it quicker

Nice try by Coombes, and great to see TOD taking the ball into contact at least 3 times in that move

    Coombes is a powerful man!

Jean Kleyn seems to have stolen TOD’s scrum cap.

Opened up for Haley there. Think he’ll be favoured over Daly come the the bigger games.

It's men against boys in the scrum

Smart kick by scannell there. Great having his boot out there

The Ospreys back 5 are dangerous in open play, serious pace out of them.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 10,208 Mod ✭✭✭✭aloooof

Their FB has some pace. DDA has been so good for us in rucks like that this season.

That's twice the left winger and FB cut thru us...lessons have to be learned

TOD having a fine game so far

Apart from the Ospreys back three, they're offering not much.
Good half from Munster, two glaring errors in the red zone but very good besides that.
