Sharing much of the Taycan platform & looking like it could cannibalize higher end (performance) Model S, & even Performance Model 3 sales.

It's reputed to be significantly less expensive than the Porsche & has everything anyone would need, the performance, the comfort, outstanding charging speed - a daily driver for everyone etc.
It will have the build quality & refinement we expect from a German marque too.

    Interesting times ahead.

    Nice car

    Its €150,000 or something mad?

You'd get 2 Model 3 Performances for that and change

    Seems ridiculous money

Faster, quieter, nicer inside, boot goes thunk, double the price.

    That makes sense.

What doesn't is the thirst. But I guess buyers of fast fossils are used to that, and if Ionity keep rolling out fast chargers then long distance charging ought to be relatively painless..

Looks big though. One of the great things about the Model 3 is how compact it is on the road.

The Model S is a different proposition altogether. Superior efficiency but can't see many Audi buyers accepting the interior quality when they have a choice.

To be honest I was a bimmer fanboy before Tesla and the interior finish is awful compared to premium German marques. I'd say there's a lot of Tesla buyers that would be similar, and would prefer this Audi to a model S/

Bloody hell thats nice - would have that all day over a Model S.

Total lottery win stuff. Electric cars have come a long way since I first drove a Mitsubishi iMiev all those years ago!
