Hard to look beyond Kane or Salah if you have them, I have them both. Salah has the better fixture but Kane has the form. I havent made up my mind yet but Ill probably go with Salah

Did you captain him last week? I did over Kane now I’m conflicted whether or not to switch It on to Kane v burnley or keep it on Salah at home v a poor Sheffield united. I’m leaning towards Salah at them moment

Triple captain Salah assuming he gets through tonight's game fine

Any argument for jiminez this week at all over salah and kane.
Newcastle conceding lots of chances. Lucky goal last week for Jiminez but any chance it opens the floodgates.

Have Kane Salah and Kun, currently on Salah. Aguero is really tempting think City are due to hammer someone

salah for me i don't fancy kane or son after Mourinho's that won't happen again comment,
    back to 1-0's for spurs

    back to 1-0's for spurs

I'd take his comments to mean he won't make the following substitutions again when looking to see a game out -

    Bergwijn for Bale 72'minutes
    Ndombele for Winks 73'minutes
Son Heung-Min for Lucas Moura 80'minutes

He left Doherty on the bench and didn't do his substitutions to park up the auld bus.

He'd be mad to change the style of play. They look full of goals.

i don't know as a man u fan i have see how Jose works, conceding goals kills him but Dubh Geannin could also be right it's hard to know.
you'd have a hard job stopping kane bale and son attacking i guess

No there's no argument to be made this week for Jiminez over Salah or Kane.

Jimi wouldn't ever go to town, Salah or Kane can easily runamuck like. Jimi only got one brace last season in the PL, he's a one goal a game man when he hits. A safe option if nothing else is available on a GW.

Salah for me, as easy a choice there every was. And I own Son and Kane.

He's created 0 chances this season. Wolves aren't clicking yet.

If you were ever captaining him Leeds without Philips would be it but it's still stupid

Burnley away is always one of those fixtures where you would be 50/50 with your captain choice

Like last week it's a tight call between Salah znd Kane.

Was on Salah but think I'm going Kane. Salah at home is hard to say no to, but Kane is just so involved in everything at the moment and is just playing so well.

Sheff still haven't conceded more than 2 in a game.

I expect 2 or 3 goals for both Pool and Spurs, no great difference there. Possibly pool more likely to get more.

But i can't see Kane not being involved in at least one goal, whereas Mane has seemed possibly more involved in recent games for Pool and they have other outlets. Salah's finishing has been superb but he doesn't look like he's central to all attacks.

So Kane based on form and goal involvement, with my feeling that on other metrics they're more or less equal.

If it doesn't work out it'll ruin your weekend as it's the first match tonight,
but on the other hand it could make your weekend, good luck !

Landslide for Salah, could be massive this week!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,158 ✭✭✭Dearg81

I'm gonna go with the flow and pick Salah. He will get plenty of chances against this Sheffield United team.

Going for Kane on gut (love a MNF captain too). Mo (or Mané) a good pick too. Or even Bruno or Rashford if you have them. Jimi is probably a good bet for a goal plus bonus (as he likes to do)...

Sterling has a crazy record in this fixture. Got me a sweet sweet hat-trick in GW1 last year.

But, I will not have the balls to not captain Salah.

It's a live by the sword/die by the sword type of week for those that don't captain him, potentially 15+ swing, given the majority picking him would be expecting 15+ point return, which is the grand scheme of things isn't that much - but tis annoying to get it wrong

Would it not just be a 15 point swing assuming they own him and aren't captaining him?
