Generally, the president of the USA, ie the most powerful person on the planet will have more medical staff looking after him than a poster on Boards.ie....;)
    Get over it.!!

Are the people that are dying, dying in nursing homes again? That’s just sad! You’d think we’d have that sorted

It baffles me that 6 deaths can be denotified yesterday and 10 added today.
There must be a better way to count and announce these numbers.

Someone will say it's all grand, they are just playing with numbers and someone will post a picture of Comical Ali or Frank Drebin.

    610 and 10 deaths.

Those who've been keeping track of swabs v cases announced (I gave up weeks ago) that looks to me like a large backlog through the reporting system. Anyone tracking care to confirm or have the numbers ?

609 positive swabs in past 24 hours according to a post earlier. So today wouldn't seem to include any meaningful backlog is there is currently one.

    This is extremely high!

Important: 8 of the 10 deaths reported today occurred prior to September 2020.

Even worse, then why denotify 6 yesterday and announce 8 historic ones today?

Whether or not that 613 is due to a backlog or not, 10 deaths is awful to hear.

Dublin - it's two weeks since the restrictions and yet not a sign of improvement.

How many covid deaths in the European Union? I'm interested to know how we compare to the US. Bigger population here but as we handled the pandemic much better I would expect a miniscule number in comparison.

Yeah I feel conflicted about the trump thing.
As a rule I wouldn’t wish that on anybody especially with the risk of death being so high given his circumstances. Now he is not an average American and will receive cutting edge treatment so it might offset this risk by a good bit.

However he is directly responsible for the deaths of over 200k people through is ‘playing it down’ policies.

Horrible to think but I’m sure there are plenty of Americans who lost a family members who wish him ill.

I’ll stick to my general rule however it’s easy to get outraged about someone who feels some schadenfreude. Harder to equate it with what he has done.

Plenty of people think ‘coffin dodgers’ should die so they can go back to 2019.
    Is trump a coffin dodger?

8 of the 10 occurred before September.

Suppose we are looking at some pretend bs level 23 lockdown or something, "you must stay home.... When you feel like it only"

8 historic deaths? They should not be doing that at a time when cases are increasing.

    What now for Dublin?

It doesnt seem obvious why they do that.

Did the other 2 occur yesterday, September or last week??
