We're thinking about ditching Sky as its costing nearly 100 euro a month. We don't have a TV aerial, just a Sky dish, so would need one installed. Is Saorview/Freeview any good in rural areas? Our broadband connection is OK'ish - a bit iffy when everyone is on their devices - would this make a difference to our TV reception. Sorry I'm a bit of a technophobe so have no idea!

Broadband has nothing to do with Saorview.
Go here https://www.saorview.ie/en/get/coverage and check the map to give you an idea of coverage.

    Details for installers here https://www.saorview.ie/en/get/installers
