    Applies to Shop bets only.

Can't say I'd be fancying much in either in that department, maybe Danny Mandriou at 9/2.

We're back!! One bet this weekend, we had fancied Shels at evens but those odds were crushed. Bohs potentially a bet on Sunday.

We had tipped Rovers -1.75 on the weekend football stopped so the game didn't go ahead and we're even more confident now at a better line of -1.5. Early table toppers Shamrock Rovers host 3rd from bottom Harps. This should be a straight forward win for Rovers and make it 6 wins from 6 on Saturday at 5pm. Rovers beat current Champions Dundalk 3-2 last game before lockdown and before lockdown Dundalk beat Harps 4-0 away so on paper this should be a 4+ goal win for Rovers. We think one or two players left Harps during lockdown elsewhere but can't find confirmation of this.

    Rovers -1.5 @ 1.85 (General/Bet365/Asian) - Medium Stake

    City v Bohs tomorrow.

Bohs win 8/11 and Bohs over 1.5 at 11/10 based on City being poor and away teams will do well post break.

    Rovers -1.5 @ 1.85 (General/Bet365/Asian) - Medium Stake

    3-1 FT. Winner.

Good start last weekend with a Medium winner, this week the 3 of us have managed to pick holes in a lot of things. We fancied Waterford -0.25 but have since heard they may have not trained twice during the week due to Covid testing. Pats win inplay a potential bet, Harps very poor as seen against 10 men Shels on Tuesday but Pats had a poor game against Derry losing 2-0. We have picked one bet for this week, in the 1st Division.

We fancy Shamrock Rovers +1 Asian against UCD. A one goal loss for Rovers still gives a refund on +1 Asian. Rovers threw away a 2-0 lead against 10 men Drogheda last weekend. Rovers have signed Aaron Bolger on loan from Cardiff City, who is available to be part of the Rovers First Division squad – players born after 1999 can play for the II squad along with one overage player and a goalkeeper from the Rovers Premier team it seems.

    Shamrock Rovers II +1 Asian @ 1.85 (Bet365/Asian) - Small/Medium Stake

Dundalk -1.25 @ 1.90 Medium in 30 mins. Very weak Waterford team, against a semi decent Dundalk side. Dundalk not been hitting form this season in the League so this is ideal.

Half refund. Dundalk so poor, especially in the second half against a very weakened Waterford side.

Bad mid week bet on Dundalk, we're going with 4 bets this weekend as we couldn't split them 1 is tomorrow, 2 Saturday & 1 Sunday - all look very solid on paper!
Sligo should beat Cork - Cork sit bottom while Sligo are 8th but looking solid. Last seasons League top goalscorer has come back to the League of Ireland to sign for Sligo and debuts tomorrow.
Shamrock Rovers in flying form and sit top, should be way too much for a hit and miss Pats team.
Drogheda Utd 2nd play bottom side Athlone. Should be an easy two goal win at least.
Wexford only sitting 6th from 10, host Rovers II team. With Rovers first team playing Sunday, should be no help from them. Wexford definitely value to get the win.

    Sligo Rovers -0.25 Asian @ 1.95 (Bet365/Asian) - Small/Medium Stake

    Shamrock Rovers Win/-0.5 Asian @ 2.00 (General/Bet365/Asian) - Small Stake

    Drogheda -1 Euro/-1.5 Asian @ 2.00 (General/Bet365/Asian) - Small Stake

Wexford Draw No Bet @ 2.00 (General/Bet365/Asian) - Small Stake

Horrendous. 4 tips and 4 losses this weekend... Rovers couldn't even beat 10 man Pats.

Fair play for putting them up . For what’s it worth I always look in at them and I’m sure plenty more do to . There’s being plenty good ones too don’t beat yourself up over the bad ones . Doing a drogheda win and Longford Cabo draw tomo at a little over 4s for an interest . Galway very poor and other game should be very tight

Back after a few weeks break after our last bets, we have two for this weekend one Friday & one Saturday afternoon.
1st placed Cabinteely take a short trip down to local rivals 4th placed Bray. Cabinteely are being very unrated here by the bookies with the odds they are.
Similar to Cabinteely, Bohs are very long odds for a team in 2nd and only 2 points behind Shamrock Rovers. Both teams played on Monday in the FAI Cup but unlike Rovers, Bohs mixed there team up from their Europa League game maybe with one eye on this game for the other players. With no fans allowed the sting of home advantage in this Dublin Derby is gone.

    Cabinteely +0.5 Asian/Double Chance @ 1.75 (Bet365/Asian) - Small/Medium Stake

    Bohemians +0.75 Asian @ 2.00 (Bet365/Asian) - Small/Medium Stake

Haven’t had much luck in league of ire this season but sure we will give it another go. I think Sligo will beat harps . Also fancy bray minus 1 against Athlone who are the worst team in the country . Also putting in Galway plus 1 away to ucd. Caulfield seems to be getting a bit of a reaction out of Galway and they will need it here after ucd s battering of Wexford but I think they can get a draw at least . 9 to 2 it pays here s hoping

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,962 ✭✭✭✭Gavin "shels"

Surely Bray do the job on the handicap but with the way betting has gone this season on the League....

Well beaten in there last 2 games . Not really sure whats happened as they had been very impressive up till the last couple weeks . I think drogheda are the best team in the league and will win it .

Another bad weekend last week with a loss & half loss.... 4 bets this weekend which the 3 of us couldn't split.

On what looks like a close affair on paper, 7th place Galway host 8th place Rovers II. New manager Caulfield has been in place for 3 games, one being against Shelbourne in the FAI Cup which their Premier Division status prevailed but Galway still managed to cause a lot of problems for them and two League wins. Galway should be winning here with their new found form and may cover the -1. Refund at least in our opinion.

UCD travel to Cobh and similar to the above looks close on paper. Cobh on a 4 League game winning streak and St. Colmans Park always a tough place to visit. UCD into this on the back of a 3-0 loss on Monday.

In form Sligo travel to out of form St. Pats. Since the return after Covid, Sligo have won 5 from 6 League matches. In comparsion, Pats have one win (against last placed Harps) & one draw - failing to score in 4 out of the 6 games also.

The North West Derby between Harps/Derry on Sunday sees Harps with most likely 3 suspensions including their manager after Mondays 3-1 loss away to Sligo. Derry with a gap in League proceedings since the 21st August due to FAI Cup & European participation played a friendly on Tuesday to gain much needed match fitness. Derry should be too strong for a poor Harps team with their added suspensions.

    (Friday) Galway United -1 Asian @ 1.90 (Bet365/Asian) - Small Stake

    (Saturday) Cobh Ramblers 0 Asian/Draw No Bet @ 1.80 (General/Bet365/Asian) - Small Stake

    (Saturday) Sligo Rovers +0.5 Asian/Double Chance @ 1.90 (General/Bet365/Asian) - Small Stake

    (Sunday) Derry City -0.5 Asian/Win @ 1.85 (General/Bet365/Asian) - Small Stake

    Galway bet refund
    Cobh bet loses
    Sligo bet wins
    Derry bet loses

Literally so unpredictable. 1st Division is now deemed non backable imo!

A few weeks break due to the lack of consistency in the Leagues, we have one picked for this weekend which is a Friday game.

Derry have been out of luck since the season restarted in July - 4 losses, 3 draws and 2 wins. They've lost their most recent two League games in the closing minutes, firstly conceding two goals to Bohs on additional time to lose 2-1 and the last week's 87th minute goal to lose to Sligo on Tuesday evening.Their manager essentially refused to talk about the latest loss to the media as it's tiresome.
Waterford find themselves in 3rd spot, 7 points off 2nd placed Bohs. They found some form at the start of September beating Pat's 3-0 & Bohs 2-0 before being smashed 6-1 by Shamrock Rovers. They returned to winning ways last week with a good win against Sligo.

    Waterford Double Chance/+0.5 Asian @ 1.95 (Bet365/Asian) - Small/Medium Stake

Anybody know why Bohs odds have gone from 1.9 to 2.22 to beat Shels?
Would have thought they would be pumped up and badly need to win after Rovers winning last night?

Thankfully Bohs won easy enough so Pats/Bohs double came in.

Is anyone else waiting on PP to pay out on outright bets? I had Bohs to finish "best of the rest" behind Dundalk & St Pats.

Should have paid out at this stage, there's nothing left that will change those positions.
